Trun: Swatting Flies

Trun: Swatting Flies is the first mission of the Falaise Pocket campaign of Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor.

Mission Description[]

The Allies close in on Trun, and target our Panzers with their planes. Protect the Panzers until nightfall, until they can move out under the cover of darkness.

Primary Objectives[]

1. Report to the Church
"Alert Hauptmann Funke at the Church. He must be alerted of the possible invasion."
- 1.1. Build 88 Emplacement
  "Order the Luftwaffe to build at least one 88 emplacement and protect the church from Allied Aircraft."

2. Shield the Panzers
"Keep the Panzers free from Allied harassment. Ensure that the paratroopers and planes do not find them."
- 2.1. Intercept Allied Recon
  "Stop the Allied recon forces before they locate the Panzers."
  - 2.2. Shield the Panzers
    "Stop the Allied recon forces from destroying the Panzers."

1. Alert the Garrisons
"Rouse the soldiers within the garrisons and alert them of the incoming Allies."

Medal Objective[]

1. Prevent Any Panzer Casualties
"Do not let any harm come to the Panzer division. Not a single tank can be lost."
