Talk: Luftwaffe Ground Force

I'm not sure which of these pics to use as the main unit pic for this article:

Emphasises the leader, but the others (and the AA) are in the dark

Everyone's visible, but the photo is a little dark

The picture hasn't updated properly here. It's something to do with the image caching they use. Check out the article, I think the image there has already updated. --Headrock 18:14, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

Unit name...

Also, the unit's in-game name is "Luftwaffe Squad". The Command Upgrade and Command Ability are called "Luftwaffe Ground Forces". Currently, Luftwaffe Squad is a redirect leading here.

I like the name "Luftwaffe Ground Force", but it's not the unit's name. Also, the abilities are called "Forces"... What do we do?

There is already an example for this: See Stormtrooper Squad and Infantry Assault Team, but it's very redundant. The best approach is to use one article for both and name it with the in-game name of the unit. But for this case, Luftwaffe Ground Force sounds cooler than Luftwaffe Squad and it should not cause confussion (there would be if Stormtroopers were name "infantry assault teams") --Bachinchi 17:47, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

I agree regarding the redundancy, as you've seen I've been detailing the Command Upgrades under the Command Tree article to which they belong, I think separate articles for them are not required - they could be reduced to redirect to the proper segment, for instance having Creeping Barrage redirect to Royal Artillery Support#Creeping Barrage, instead of having its own article.

Still not sure about the Luftwaffe Squad vs. Luftwaffe Ground Force as a proper article name. But I guess it's less of an issue here, since anyone looking for "Luftwaffe" will find the article anyway... It's just a question of policy and consistency. --Headrock 18:23, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

Unit Health
