Partisan Tank Hunters
|Role||infiltration, anti-vehicle infantry|
|Men per Squad||4|
|Produced By||None, called in from the field|
|Basic Weapon||Mosin Nagant Bolt-Action Rifles, Panzerschrek|
Partisan Tank Hunters are a commander-specific unit which fulfils an infiltration and anti-vehicle role on the battlefield.
Armed with a stolen German Panzerschrek, Partisan Tank Hunters are a threat to enemy vehicles. This threat can be further augmented with the RPG-43 Anti-Tank Grenade Global Upgrade unlocked at the Regimental Field Headquarters.
Partisan Tank Hunters can also be spawned in any empty civilian building on the map, making them ideal for flanking and infiltrating behind enemy lines. There, they can wreak havoc by placing mines and razor wire to disrupt enemy movements, or scout and avoid detection by camouflaging in cover.
- Costs nothing
- Takes 3 seconds to build per piece
When deployed, can be used to reveal a large part of the map when tripped by enemy.
RPG-43 Anti-Tank Grenade
This ability further augments the Partisan Tank Hunters' capabilities against enemy vehicles. However, it is a short ranged ability and vehicles can use their mobility to stay out of range.
- Toggled ability
- While active, unit will not fire unless given an explicit command
This ability prevents the Partisan Tank Hunters from unintentionally breaking camouflage while in cover. This allows them to act as scouts, or to wait for an opportune vehicular target.
While in cover, this unit will be camouflaged, rendering it invisible to units unless they are very close. Camouflage will break upon firing a weapon.
