Oosterbeek

Oosterbeek is the third mission of the Market Garden campaign of Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts.

Background[]

"Operation Market Garden" is the combined codename for the Allied airborne and ground-based invasion of the Netherlands. As part of "Market", the British 1st Airborne is attempting to capture bridges across the Rhine in Oosterbeek and Arnhem. Kampfgruppe Lehr is tasked with intercepting the British paratroopers before reaching Arnhem.

Objectives[]

Primary Objectives[]

1.) Destroy the Bridge using a Golaith

"Use the Munitions Halftrack to deploy a Goliath to detonate the bridge before the commandos secure the area."

2.) Establish a Front Line

"Capture the Strategic Points to establish a front line."

3.) Defend the Roads to Arnhem

"Prevent the Commandos from capturing the Strategic Points along the roads leading into Arnhem."

Secondary Objectives[]

1.) Capture Westerbouwing Heights

"Commandos have taken the heights next to the Rhine river. Capture the Strategic Point on the hill and eliminate all enemies."

2.) Destroy the Artillery

"Seek out the Commando's artillery and destroy it."

1.) Capture Supply Drops

"Capture the Supply Drops to prevent the Commandos from resupplying."
