"Kestrel", real name unknown, was a young German woman living in Stuttgart. Her anti-Nazi sentiment led her to join the German Resistance and get into contact with Allied intelligence agencies.

Kestrel was the daughter of Dr. Luca Gruenewald, a nuclear scientist working for the Nazis.
