Infantry are the basic unit type in Company of Heroes and Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts.

The Infantry units in the Company of Heroes series are made up of a squad of foot soldiers usually armed with a type of firearm. Infantry units in general all have a average spped, hit points, and are don't cost as much as some other units such as heavy vehicles and tanks. Infantry units are effective at killing other infantry and destroying some vehicles, and taking capture points or supply points.
