About

In Company of Heroes 3, the players take the role of Allied Forces during their invasion of North Africa and Italy. Italian Partisans are allied NPCs that can either be used on the map or be called in during battles. The story is dynamic, and the player's interactions with the game's various commanders can affect the narrative's ending.

Featured article

The Jeep is a light reconnaissance vehicle fielded by the American army in Company of Heroes. Fast, though fragile, the Jeep's primary feature is an extremely extended sight-range (one of the longest in the game) which allows it to spot enemy units well before being detected by them.

In addition to straight sight, the Jeep can also detect enemy camouflaged units from a good distance - at least 18 meters away. This allows it to effectively hunt for enemy Snipers, whom it can kill easily with its Light Machine Gun. On the other hand, it will not survive combat with most enemy units.

-The '''[[88mm Flak 36]]''' is a medium artillery weapons system employed by the German forces throughout all of their theatres of war. Although it was already a known tank killer, it became infamous in Egypt and Libya for it's devastating effect against Allied armour. The superior range, muzzle velocity and calibre of the gun, made it the most fearsome artillery piece in the African theatre. It accounted for many of the successful blocks of the Allied assaults and subsequent counter-attacks. This weapon nearly won North Africa. When it was brought into Russia against the new T-34's and other heavily armoured Russian tanks, it was again able to devastate Stalin's armoured columns. When it was brought against the Allies again in Western Europe, it once more destroyed any armour it came into contact with.
