All major elements of the 12th SS Panzer Division have retreated from Caen. However, small pockets of opposition remain to delay the Allied forces. 3rd Battalion must strike into the heart of the city and eliminate all resistance

Mission notes[]
- This mission inherits most (not all) units from the previous mission, Caen: Into the City. More specifically, the player will lose control of all Priest Self-Propelled Artillery units at the start of the mission, which will proceed to leave the map.
- The layout of this mission's map is slightly different from that of the previous mission. The most obvious difference is the missing victory points, which have become control points. The location of German 88mm Flak 36 AT/AA guns are also different; this mission has one fewer Flak 36.
- This mission leads directly into Caen: Storm Front. All unit and emplacement positions are carried over into that mission.
Glitches[]
- If the top right corner of the map (where the Hummels are supposed to appear) is revealed too early, the Hummels may still spawn at some point but will not be marked as objective targets, rendering the respective secondary objective incompletable.
